breakfast.
Taking some cues from other worship leaders that make their women some breakfast, I decided to be a gentleman to my beautiful bride this morning.
She gets up around 5:00 (that’s 5 in the a.m.) to get ready for work, and even though I really honestly try to get up by at least 5:30 to spend some time with her each morning, it’s usually in a sleepy, groggy daze.
Can you blame me? Seriously… I don’t hit the office until 9:00. That’s nearly four hours of drinking coffee, reading blogs, drinking coffee, checking myspace, drinking coffee, reading blogs and… you get the point. Being the great wife she is, she’s put up with seeing the ‘tired & disheveled’ look each morning for quite a while now, so I figured it was about time for a change. Today she got to see the ‘tired & disheveled’ morning look — but while eating french toast!
I don’t mean to boast but I make a mean breakfast. And when I say mean, I am saying out-of-this-world good. Pancakes. Eggs. Bacon. Omelette’s. Sausage. and of course French Toast… you name it. I married one lucky woman. …okay, reverse that.

Make all us groggy, bloggy people have to set new goals. Thanks. Really.
I feel your pain, dude. I drop my wife at the train to go to the city and have about 3 hours until anyone else is in the office. I get a lot of reading done though:-)
