iPod woes.
Any ideas on how to reverse and correct operator errors on iTunes?
I downloaded some Christmas songs this morning, thinking I could spread some cheer to my office. When I downloaded them, they automatically saved to My Doc’s file. So, I moved them from My Doc’s to the iTunes Music folder. Lo and behold, when I opened iTunes to hear the sleigh bells jingling, all I see are blank lines where my library should be.
Blank.
Not exactly how I wanted to see my iTunes library — like, ever. I still have the files on my computer. I could go through individually and hit play on each file, and open them in iTunes to manually add them back to the library, but I really don’t want to do that. I’d have to go through and add back in the details, ratings, album art, podcasts… and I would have to do that. It’s an OCD thing. I just couldn’t bear the thought of a disorganized library.
So, if anyone has any suggestions for fixing stupid mistakes, I would love to hear them. Right now I’m about two seconds from dropping my computer off the bridge. And I still can’t get the Christmas songs to play.
Merry flippin’ Christmas… yeah right.
