That’s right, our family officially made the switch.
Last night I purchased our first household Apple computer. We decided to ease our way in with a MacBook, instead of going all out on a Pro or Air (all in due time, young grasshopper). Still, we’re pretty excited about it.
Not a lot to report since it hasn’t arrived yet, but I’m sure I’ll have more to say when it comes in the mail early next week.
The sound quality is hands down the best I’ve ever heard for both in-call use and using the speakerphone. I’m also a Bluetooth geek (but only while I’m driving), and it’s worth noting that it works really well with this phone and is pretty simple to use (switch calls/place calls on hold/etc).
It was also pretty easy to setup Blackberry’s software on my work and home computers - so all of my calendar events, contacts and tasks were imported for me. And not to mention that it has the first phone-camera actually worth using.
Suffice to say: this is the best phone I’ve ever owned.
The only downside is the QWERTY keyboard - it works too well! The month before we got our new phones, our combined phone bill showed about 127 SMS messages. Last month’s bill? …almost 700.
